I use tcpdump very often, both for looking at live network traffic, and for monitoring the [http://www.openbsd.org/faq/pf/logging.html pflog] interfaces that the [http://www.openbsd.org/faq/pf/index.html pf firewall] creates. In my opinion, tcpdump can do everything a command line based packet sniffer should be able to do.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
